Schneider appoints Judith A. Lemke executive vice president and CIO

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Schneider National Inc., a provider of transportation, logistics and related services, has announced Judith A. Lemke has been named executive vice president and chief information officer (CIO) of the company. Lemke brings more than 25 years of experience to the role and will lead the $3.2 billion company’s technology, engineering and business transformation initiatives as a member of the executive team.

“Judy’s proven success at information technology organizations demonstrates her strategic vision and leadership abilities,” said Chris Lofgren, Schneider National president and CEO. “We are excited to welcome her to our team and are confident she will help accelerate our industry-leading reputation for providing technology solutions that help drive our customers’ success.”

Lemke joins Schneider National from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minn., where she served as CIO. Prior to her work at the university, Lemke served as the vice president of the Midwest region for Minneapolis-based BORN Information Services, Inc., an IT consulting firm, increasing the region’s revenue by 100 percent in two years. Previously, Lemke spent 18 years at Medtronic, serving most recently as the director of IT for the Americas. Lemke holds a bachelor’s degree from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minn.
