Schneider National taps new president
GREEN BAY, Wis. — The board of directors of Schneider National has elected Christopher Lofgren, 43, as president and chief executive officer.
Lofgren succeeds Don Schneider, 66, and becomes the third leader of the transportation and logistics company founded in 1935.
Schneider will continue as the chairman of the board.
“My role is to actively support Chris and his team, and do my part to help the company remain at the forefront of customer service and innovation,” says Schneider.
The management succession process at Schneider National began 14 years ago when Schneider created an independent board to focus on corporate governance and to facilitate a smooth transition of organizational leadership.
