Seals Get Polar Treatment
Horton, a leading manufacturer of cooling solutions for engines, has introduced a new series of premium repair kits designed to upgrade its S and HT/S Advantage fan drives. PolarExtreme repair kits have an improved D-shaped seal design made from a new rubber compound that won’t harden or lose its seal in cold temperatures or become dry and brittle from long-term engine exposure in the heat. Kits with the new material, called hydrogenated buna nitrile rubber, are available this spring.
