ESCONDIDO, Cal. — The well-publicized case of a missing California teen has a Canadian trucking connection.

Fourteen-year-old Amber LeeAnne Dubois, who has an aunt who operates a truck permit business in Quebec, went missing on her way to Escondido High School in Escondido, Cal. Feb. 13. She was on her way to purchase a lamb as part of a school project, officials stated.

However, she has not been seen or heard from since disappearing that Friday morning and family and law enforcement agencies are looking for information. The family says she is not the type to run away from home.

Dubois is: 5’5”; 130 lbs; has short, medium brown hair and blue eyes; born 10/25/94; last seen wearing black pants a black hoodie and black sneakers; and was last seen at 7:10 a.m. Feb. 13. Anyone with information about the missing teen is asked to call local police at 760-749-TIPS (8477).
