DAVENPORT, Iowa — Sears Seating announced that it has entered into an agreement with International Truck and Engine to provide its dealers nationwide with the ability to order and supply Sears Atlas truck seats as published options on International branded trucks.

Sears Seating Atlas 70 Series Standard line is available in the 8000 Series and 9000 Series of International trucks, along with the Atlas 70 Premium Comfort series in the 9000 Series.

The Atlas Elite 80 series and its 70 premium Comfort series will also be available in International’s ProStar trucks.

“We are very excited to be able to partner with International in bringing these lines of seats to truck drivers everywhere,” said Steve Sears, president of the Truck Division of Sears. “The Atlas Seat series has been very well received in the industry, and we are pleased to be able to connect International customers with Sears Seats.”

Atlas officials describe the manufacturers seats as the “ultimate” truck seat because of their extreme comfort, improved three-axis stability and durability during lengthy test cycles. Features of the Atlas Elite 80, for example, include Mordura fabric covering, ComfortZone support structure system, three-position independent seat extension and seat tilt, adjustable air lumbar and ToggleLink suspension.
