See Truck World through our lens

TORONTO — There’s supposed to be an industry downturn? You wouldn’t have guessed that from stepping inside the International Centre in Toronto last week, when Truck World 2008 rolled into town.

The show sold out all its space to suppliers and attracted nearly 23,000 visitors — breaking the previous record its owners, Newcom Business Media (our publisher), set in 2006.

This time, our video cameras were there to bring you an exclusive state-of-the-industry broadcast.

Check out Todaystrucking.com’s homepage (or click on the link below) for unique industry perspectives from OEM presidents, fleet execs, and owner-ops on hot-button issues like current market conditions, fuel prices, and, of course, speed limiters. Plus, find out who we picked to be the 2008 highwaySTAR of the Year.

Thanks for watching.
