Seminars announced for Truck World 2008

TORONTO, Ont. — Organizers of Truck World 2008 have announced a number of seminars to take place at the trade show which takes place Apr. 17-19.

The Survival Strategies Fleet Forum will feature a panel of three experts addressing the technological challenges facing fleet operators, legislative issues and driver retention on Apr. 18.

Jim Park, editor of highwaySTAR magazine, will be giving owner/operators practical information on improving their trucks performance and reducing fuel costs at the Specing and Driving for Fuel Economy session Apr. 19. Park will also be conducting a seminar the same day titled Ten Things Successful Owner Operators Do.

Many additional seminars are at the planning stage. A full seminar program will be posted at www.truckworld.ca.
