OTTAWA, Ont. — The Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council (CTHRC) is developing occupational standards of professional driver trainers and transportation safety professionals.

Trucknews.com apologizes to our readers for any confusion an earlier and less-than-accurate report may have caused. We promise to be more concise in the future.

CTHRC is asking for help from industry members to review a short document that outlines the necessary skills for drivers. The rationale being to help recruit, train and retain the human resources necessary to meet the requirements of the Canadian trucking industry.
