TORONTO, Ont. — Shaw Tracking has become the new sponsor of the Ontario Trucking Association’s Service to Industry Award. The annual award is presented to a trucking executive in recognition of their exemplary commitment, contribution, and dedication to the trucking industry in Ontario.

The award recipient is selected by a committee comprised of past chairmen of the association – some of which who are past recipients of the award themselves – at the OTA’s annual convention in November.

“We’re very proud of the Service to Industry award and Shaw’s participation is instrumental in making sure we can continue to present it,” said OTA president David Bradley. “This award has been presented at the OTA convention for over 50 years and we are thrilled that it will continue with support from Shaw Tracking.”

“We are pleased to sponsor the Service to Industry award; an award known as the highest honour bestowed upon an executive in the Ontario trucking industry.  Winners are recognized as individuals who, by their commitment, vision, and leadership have made outstanding contributions to the development and success of the transportation industry,” said Mike Ham, vice-president of business services with Shaw Tracking.
