Shell Rotella SuperRigs to feature $25,000 truck makeover contest

JOPLIN, Mo. — One lucky owner/operator could walk away with a $25,000 truck makeover at this years Shell Rotella SuperRigs truck beauty contest in honour of the events 25th anniversary. The Chrome Shop Mafia better known as the customizing team behind the popular Country Music Television series, Trick My Truck will be in charge of the makeover.

Through June 1, eligible owner/operators can go to www.rotella.com to submit a photo of their truck and an essay describing why they feel they should win the Chrome Shop Mafia truck makeover. Three finalists will be selected for the makeover.

Owner/operators can also enter the truck makeover contest in person at Shell Rotella SuperRigs in Joplin, Mo. June 21-22. An additional three finalists will be selected from those that register onsite as well. On June 23, SuperRigs attendees will be able to vote to select the winning truck from the six finalists. The winner will be awarded the $25,000 truck makeover by the Chrome Shop Mafia at the Shell Rotella SuperRigs awards ceremony.

The made-over truck will be revealed and on display in the Shell Lubricants booth at the Great American Truck Show in Dallas, Texas Aug. 23-25.
