SIRIUS and XM expand Road Dog Trucking programming

NEW YORK — A positive spin-off of the SIRIUS and XM Radio merger in the U.S. is the two satellite radio networks have decided to expand the Road Dog Trucking Radio channel.

Exclusive programming from both the SIRIUS and XM services will now be used by both host networks as of Feb. 17. For the first time XM subscribers will hear SIRIUS’ dynamic trucking radio programming, and SIRIUS subscribers will have access to XM’s compelling lineup.

Road Dog Trucking Radio – SIRIUS channel 147 and XM channel 171 – will provide a 24/7 news, information, and entertainment destination for the professional truck driver.

Road Dog Trucking Radio will feature a stellar of exclusive live call-in shows hosted by veterans of trucking radio such as Dave Nemo and ‘The Truckin’ Bozo’ Dale Sommers, plus the next generation of trucking stars with Evan Lockridge’s Lockridge Report, Meredith Ochs and Chris T.’s Freewheelin’ and Glen ‘Jonesey’ Jones, who will be keeping truckers company on the new overnight show Jonesey’s All Night Truck Stop.

Road Dog Trucking Radio also features exclusive SIRIUS XM Trucking News updates, plus interstate weather updates and interstate alerts detailing highway and construction delays.
