American Trucking Association
The National Accounting & Finance Council of the American Trucking Associations offers an updated edition of The 2000 Motor Carrier Technology Directory. It lists more than 50 categories of computer software applicable to trucking companies and the vendors offering them. Software solutions include everything from accounting to dispatching and mileage recording to Zip-code references. The directory covers nine different categories of computer hardware plus a variety of other services, such as bar-coding devices, imaging, and wireless communications.
