What impact are the new U.S. hours of service regulations having on Canadian transborder carriers?

That’s one of the crucial questions to be answered with this year’s Buying Trends Survey, currently being conducted by Motortruck and Truck News with the support of more than a dozen major industry suppliers. The survey asks respondents about the impact the new HOS is having on their operational productivity and if they are adding revenue equipment as a result.

This is just one of the many critical questions to be answered by the annual Buying Trends Survey this year. The survey also examines the performance of the new engines, the likelihood of another pre-buy, and details the buying plans for a variety of equipment purchases.

Want to see the results?

All respondents to our survey, which just takes a few minutes to complete, will be e-mailed a copy of the survey highlights free of charge. All participants will also be included in a draw for a $1,000 cash prize. And the first 25 owner/operators to answer the survey will be sent a free copy of the Owner/Operator Business Skills CD from the Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council.

The Buying Trends 2004 Survey link below will take you to the survey site. Easy-to-follow instructions are included there. The survey is also available through the Survey button on the upper right hand side of our Web site.
