Stemco names new brakes product manager

LONGVIEW, Texas — Stemco has named Todd Heim its new product manager for the company’s brake products group.

Heim has assumed his new position already and will head Stemco’s Duroline friction, new shoe and hardware kits businesses as well as the Stemco Crewson line of automatic brake adjustors, the company announced.

Most recently, Heim worked for Grote Industries and prior to that he worked in the brake industry for 25 years with Federal Mogul, Power Brake and Suspension and Ferodo.

“Todd is an expert in the brake category,” said Jim Reis, vice-president and general manager of the Stemco Brake Products Group. “We are excited to have him on board and know that his extensive experience in the brake industry will be a key factor in expanding our focus in the brake category. Todd will be responsible for product development and strategy, pricing, and marketing of brake products focused on foundation brake training, vehicle safety and world class manufacturing.”
