ALEXANDRIA, Virg. – The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) revealed today that its education and certification program is adding  a new subscription online learning platform to its suite of educational options.

The new platform is called Driver Connect, and it is powered by CarriersEdge and KRTS Online Highway and is specifically tailored for professional drivers.

“We are excited to add Driver Connect to Truckload Academy’s offerings so our members and the industry at large have a training solution that utilizes the latest technology,” said Ron Goode, TCA’s director of education. “With drivers being constantly on the move, it is difficult for company leadership to manage their training needs.”

The Driver Connect platform considers the learning styles of those taking the courses. Users can log in from their desktop, mobile device, or through their vehicle’s satellite to choose from a library of courses as well as refresher courses.

It also is designed with the trainer and managers in mind as the interface allows trainers to manage driver accounts, assign courses and monitor progress. Likewise, managers can track compliance and review individual training status.

Carriers interested should visit the official Web site, www.TruckloadAcademy.org/driver-connect.
