GARDEN GROVE, Cal. — Teletrac has added a new analytical reporting feature to FleetDirector, called On-Site, designed to optimize operational efficiency with customized fleet activity reports.

On-Site allows fleet managers to produce detailed fleet activity reports at specific job sites, allowing them to better manage the productivity of their drivers and vehicles, the company says.

FleetDirector is a wireless information system providing fleet managers with real-time information on the location of vehicles within a metro commercial fleet. The On-Site addition adds more powerful capabilities to the program, allowing fleet managers to input customer, supplier and business locations for monitoring, tracking and efficiency management, Teletrac says.

A report will indicate how much time vehicles spend at each location and how much time is spent travelling. The reports can be accessed from any Windows-based computer with an Internet connection.

“Our new On-Site feature gives fleet owners the tools for examining the components of their operation that are most critical,” said Tony Eales, chief executive officer of Teletrac. “By providing detailed reports on every aspect of the job, from the route the vehicle took to the amount of time it was stationary, On-Site helps fleet owners determine how to increase productivity, revenue and customer service more than ever before.”
