MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Tenold Transportation has implemented Cancom Trackings OmniTRACS Real-time Satellite Fleet Management System into its fleet.
Tenold Transportation officials said the carrier implemented OmniTRACS technology to improve asset utilization and increase communication.

“Our fleet travels across North America, therefore we need real-time data on the location of our assets so that we can provide our customers with superior service by including accurate delivery and pick up times,” said Keith DeBlaere, general manager, Tenold Transportation. “There is a real cost savings to our drivers in their cell phone and layover costs by utilizing the OmniTRACS units. Our drivers are adopting the technology and are seeing the benefits of having constant communication no matter where they are. OmniTRACS is also offering our drivers the added safety and security of being able to contact dispatch at any time while out on the road.”
