TETRA Technologies
TETRA Technologies has introduced an ASP (Application Service Provider) version of its VICTOR fleet management and communications system.

With an ASP model, the software is accessed via the Internet and does not reside on the user’s computer. TETRA, based in Montreal, will offer a monthly subscription that combines application software, support services, and future upgrades.

TETRA’s fleet-management system combines three separate technologies: on-board equipment, multi-mode wireless communication, and application software. VICTOR’s open architecture further allows third-party applications and legacy systems to integrate with its hardware and software platforms, the company says.
