The Brains Behind Hunter’s Alignment System
Hunter Engineering’s new Series 611T Heavy-Duty Alignment System is an impressive piece of machinery, but what’s most remarkable is the brain behind the brawn. The Windows-based WinAlign software supports 33 heavy-duty axle configurations and a score of truck and bus OEM specs. By collecting and comparing the alignment measurements of the tested vehicle with the database specifications of that specific vehicle type, WinAlign HD automatically calculates and displays all alignment measurements in a colour-coded format to show the technician any angles that are out of spec. Any needed adjustments can made by using the bar graph targets to guide the technician to a proper alignment. The system includes a monitor and cabinet, and a variety of software and sensor options.
