THE COLD FACTS: Challenges for pharmaceutical industry shipments

TORONTO, Ont. — How does the pharmaceutical supply chain compare when it comes to issues such as rate increases,surcharge penetration and capacity concerns?

Find out by attending editorial director Lou Smyrlis’ seminar “A snap shot of Challenges Awaiting the Pharmaceutical Industry in 2006” at the upcoming Cold Chain Management and Temperature Control Summit this coming week.

Smyrlis’ presentation will highlight the results of a recently completed national survey of more than 700 shippers across Canada, conducted by our Transportation Media Research in partnership with Canadian Industrial Transportation Association and CITT. In particular, special attention will be given to the data affecting supply chain management for the pharmaceutical industry.

The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, February 28.
