Truck Talk
Volume 2 Number 6

Most of our listeners will be quite familiar with the name Freightliner as a medium and heavy truck maker. But I’ll wager not many of you know that much about the Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. It’s a division of Daimler Trucks North America, like its namesake, and it’s becoming a market leader in the alternative fuel and hybrid power system markets. From RVs to school buses, motor coaches, and walk-in delivery vans, Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. is putting hybrid power and alternative fuels systems into many different markets.

This week on Truck Talk we speak with Jonathan Randall, the director of sales and marketing at Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation in Gaffney S.C. We’ll be talking about various applications of hybrid technology for RV and buses as well as package delivery vans. Trucking is a very broad universe, and there’s a hybrid power system for most applications.
