CANTON, Ohio — The Timken Company recently named Brian Walters director of heavy-duty sales.

In this position, Walters will be responsible for sales to the original equipment heavy-duty industry for Timken’s automotive division.

"Brian’s experience in the heavy-duty business fits well with our strategic plan for the heavy-duty markets,” said Rich Adams, vice president automotive global business development. “He brings an impressive track record and is well positioned to support our customers.”

Walters has been with Timken for more than 25 years, serving in a variety of marketing and sales positions. Most recently, he served as manager of global business development. Walters graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in business administration.

Brian replaces Bill Lucas, a valued member of Timken’s automotive team for more than 30 years who recently passed away of an apparent heart attack.
