MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Matt Nuijens has been named director of dealer development for Thermo King, where he will be responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of “best practice” programs and activities aimed at strengthening the dealer network and enhancing customer service, the company announced.

Nuijens will provide leadership in implementing these programs through internal advisory groups and the Thermo King sales and marketing organizations, according to a statement from the company.

Nuijens joined Ingersoll Rand in 2006 as a business manager with the industrial technologies sector. Prior to his term with Ingersoll Rand, Nuijens held roles of increasing responsibility within the sales and marketing organizations of Goodrich/Garlock sealing technologies, Danaher Tool Group, and immediately prior to Ingersoll Rand, with Newell Rubbermaid.

“The dealer network is the lifeline to our customers and we need to be able to respond to them in a timely manner. I believe we need to develop a strategy that will foster open communication with our dealer network and allow us to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers. I take pride in what I do and I am extremely excited about the opportunities ahead,” says Nuijens.
