THSAO appoints annual Safety Professional of the Year award

KINGSTON, Ont. — CMV Safety Consulting, Jones DesLauriers Insurance Management, and HoS Auditing have announced Brian Botham has won the Transportation Health and Safety Association Council of Driver Trainers “Safety Professional of the Year Award.”

Botham, a certified director of safety with CMV Safety, was formally honoured with the council’s award at the conference gala. Botham has spent his entire career in the transportation industry: as a driver, driver trainer, safety manager, and a safety consultant for the last 25 years.

According to the THSAO, this award is given to safety professionals by their peers to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service to the chapter, the transportation industry as a whole, and/or their community in the promotion of transportation safety.
