THSAO conference coming up
TORONTO, Ont. — The Transportation Health and Safety Association of Ontario council of Driver Trainers Annual Meeting & Conference will be held Oct. 22 24 in London, Ont.
This year, the council of driver trainers has chosen London as the venue for their annual conference.
Taking place at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, this event brings together driver trainers and related professionals from the truck, bus and courier industries as well as insurance and many other related business. Topics of discussion include the latest in driver training, staff development and risk management techniques.
The council’s goal is to achieve knowledge through training. In today’s uncertain business environment, the Council of Driver Trainers’ mission is certainly a necessity for all companies.
The conference brings together over 100 professionals from across Ontario. The theme this year is "Advanced Training Promotes Safety". Friday night’s Meet and Greet reception is a great opportunity to get to know others in the industry. Saturday will be an action packed day with topics that include: In-Cab Evaluations, Hazard Awareness, Risk Perception, Electronic Technology & Tools, Driver Types, E-Learning & Distance Education, and a Desert Survival Scenario. The Conference wraps up on Sunday with a presentation on Preparing A Training Program.
