Titanium Getting More New Rigs as Part of Growth Strategy

WOODBRIDGE, ON — Titanium Transportation Group Inc. continues taking delivery of new trucks as part of a plan to increase its business.

It has taken delivery of 95 Volvo VNL 670 trucks during 2015 and expects to take delivery of an additional 145 Volvo trucks during 2016, including 45 trucks in early 2016.

“The new trucks will allow Titanium to continue to execute its proven organic and acquisition growth strategy, including replacing equipment from further acquisitions expected to be completed in 2016,” the company said in a statement.

The company’s current fleet consists of 450 power units with an average age of 3 years.

“Titanium’s strong balance sheet, pipeline of acquisition opportunities and new trucks to be delivered in 2016 will allow the company to continue to execute its high growth strategy and to complete further acquisitions in 2016,” said Titanium CEO Ted Daniel

Titanium is an asset-based transportation and logistics company servicing Canada and the United States, with 1,200 trailers and 550 employees and independent owner operators, providing truckload, dedicated, and cross-border trucking services, freight logistics, and warehousing and distribution services.
