TMW Systems extends reach with new acquisition
CLEVELAND, Ohio — TMW Systems, a provider of enterprise management software, has acquired Integrated Support Decision Corporation (IDSC). Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
IDSC is a leading independent provider of optimization-based decision support software for the trucking industry.
Todays announcement represents one more step in our strategy to create a portfolio of solutions to the transportation industry of unprecedented breadth, quality, and value, said Dave Wangler, president and CEO of TMW Systems. TMWs mission is to deliver products that deliver compelling competitive advantage with a minimum of risk for customers.
Customers of both companies will benefit from this acquisition through expanded products and services, broader geographic reach and greater scale. TMW Systems has already extended its Lifetime Support Policy to include IDSCs entire product line.
TMW plans to accelerate growth of IDSC products, expand research and development investments, and increase employment, the company said.
