Today’s Trucking, highwaySTAR add western scribe to ranks

EDMONTON — Today’s Trucking’s award-winning editorial staff is pleased to announce the arrival of a new writer/editor.

Steven Macleod has been named Western Editor of Today’s Trucking and highwaySTAR magazines. Not only will Steve help beef up our western Canadian content in print and on TodaysTrucking.com, but he’ll also be contributing general features, news, and profile stories that are relevant to our readers.

Steve was born and raised in Calgary, but went to journalism school in
Edmonton at Grant MacEwan College. Today, he lives in the provincial
capital, where he can keep an eye on all the regulatory and market shifts in the west.

He spent the last two years writing for another trucking publication, and he has won awards from the Truck Writers of North America. That’s just a start, he promises — “I continue to learn every day.”

Before getting involved in the trucking industry, Steve wrote at weekly
newspapers in Alberta, covering the nuances of small town life.

We welcome Steve aboard.
