Toronto Transportation Club elects new board for 2011

TORONTO, Ont. — The Toronto Transportation Club has selected its executive committee for 2011. The board voted at the TTC’s annual general meeting held at the Royal York Hotel Dec. 2. 

Gary Crowther, director of sales for Canadian National Railway, was elected president; Claudia Milicevic, senior director and general manager of TransCore Link Logistics, was elected first vice-president; and John Foss of Trailcon Leasing was elected second vice-president. Kelli Saunders, vice-president of Exel Transportation Services, will remain on the executive committee as immediate past president.

Other members selected for the 2011 TTC board include:

-Tim Boyce, general manager, intermodal, Canadian Pacific Railway

-Greg Doyle, director, supply chain operations, Plexxus

-D.J. Massicotte, vice-president and general manager, Performance Logistics

-Robert McDonald, president, Apps Transportation Group

-Neil McKenna, vice-president of transportation, Canadian Tire Corporation

-Kelly O’Brien, vice-president of sales, Ontario and US, Clarke Transport

-Kathy Penner, associate publisher, Truck News/Truck West

-Bruce Rodgers, country manager, CEVA Freight Canada Corporation

-Jim Wade, sales representative, MSM Transportation

-David Wood, operations manager, Mother Parkers Tea and Coffee Inc.

The AGM was followed by the TTC’s annual dinner, which was attended by over 650 industry professionals, with entertainment provided by Hockey Night in Canada sportscaster, Ron Maclean.
