TORONTO, Ont. — The Toronto Transportation Club will be hosting its second annual Power of Education Golf Classic at The Rock golf course Sept. 18.

The all-inclusive event starts with 18 holes of golf at the Nick Faldo-designed course in the heart of Muskoka, followed by a stay at the Rosseau, a JW Marriott Resort and Spa. The Rosseau will also play host to a rooftop terrace cocktail reception with live music, followed by dinner.

Organizers say proceeds from the tournament will establish an additional scholarship fund. TTC members are eligible to have dependent children (including grandchildren, adopted children, stepchildren and wards in legal guardianship) apply for offered scholarships. Scholarships are open to graduating students entering their first year of studies at an accredited university or community college and will be paid annually.

There are a limited number of private rooms available for the tournament, and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Registration is limited to 100 golfers. For more information, visit www.torontotransportationclub.com.
