TORONTO, Ont. — The Toronto Transportation Club is once again offering financial assistance for students entering their first year of post-secondary education.

Members of the TTC are eligible to have their dependent children (including grandchildren, adopted children, stepchildren and wards in legal guardianship) apply for one of the group’s scholarships. The offer is open to graduating students entering their first year of studies at an accredited University or Community College and will be paid annually to a maximum of four years.

The Scholarship Award is decided by an independent adjudicator who reviews all applications in confidence.

The deadline for entry is June 30. To download a copy of the application form visit http://www.torontotransportationclub.com/scholarship.html.

In addition to the scholarship opportunity offered to members’ dependents, the TTC also supports students in the Supply Chain Management course at Humber College. The club has pledged its financial support for a three-year program of scholarships to students registered in the post-degree program.
