Tour a modern retread plant at your own convenience
PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. — The Tire Retread Information Bureau has a new Retread Plant Tour CD available to all truckers and others who would like to see how truck tires are retreaded in a modern, state-of-the-art, ISO certified retread plant.
The tour highlights all steps of the retread process from the initial inspection through to the final inspection, after which the tire is ready for another full life.
The CD was produced in a modern pre-cure retread plant and single copies are available at no cost to interested parties. There is a nominal charge for multiple copies.
