Tracerline detects your leaks

Tracerline
Westbury, N.Y. Tracerline says its fluorescent leak detection is designed to find all air conditioning and fluid leaks in much less time than with other methods.

Tracerline leak detection works with all types of fleet vehicles, from small delivery vans to school buses to tractor-trailers. Simply add the appropriate fluorescent dye (Fluoro-Lite for refrigerant and Dye-Lite for oil- or water-based fluids) to the system and allow it to circulate for a short time. Wherever the refrigerant or fluid escapes, so does the dye. When the system is scanned with a Tracerline ultraviolet or UV/blue light lamp, the dye glows a bright yellow-green to pinpoint the exact location of each and every leak. After the leaks have been repaired, the dye is wiped off and the system is scanned with the light again. If there is no glow, all the leaks were fixed properly.

The dye remains safely in the system, so any future leaks will be detected any time the vehicle pulls into the depot, the company says.
