COSTA MESA, Calif. — A new fleet management and asset tracking system has been introduced by Axiom Navigation.

The Accu-Tracker device was based on a need for continuous monitoring of vehicles and large mobile assets, and can track and report the exact location of mobile assets anywhere in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and also in some parts of Central and South America. Axiom combines GPS satellite technology with wireless data delivery in order to pinpoint the whereabouts of high value vehicles or potentially dangerous cargo.

Continuous, low cost, 24-hour location monitoring is possible with four different Accu-Tracker systems.

All of the FMS devices have a Geofencing parameter unit that can be programmed for any limit and can be turned on and off at the owner’s discretion. When the vehicle leaves the radius a position report is sent to the monitoring centre, and it can be established if the vehicle has been stolen or has been diverted.

All models of the Accu-Tracker offer a forward control channel that allows pages to be sent to the vehicle from the monitoring centre, and they each have power saving modes to help preserve the vehicle’s battery. For more information, visit www.axiomnav.com.
