Trailer Wizards Holiday Magic: Hauling Away Hunger

MISSISSAUGA, ON— Trailer Wizards is collecting food on behalf of local food banks from November 25 to 29.

“We want to do what we can to ensure that people have a happy holiday season and a healthy new year,” says Doug Vanderspek, president of Trailer Wizards.

Trailer Wizards “Haul Away Hunger” Holiday Food Drive runs across Canada at all participating Trailer Wizards branches, where they will be collecting on behalf of local food banks in their communities.

“Close to 850,000 Canadians rely on food banks each month,” Vanderspek says. “Please drop by one of our locations and donate non-perishable food or grocery items and help us haul away hunger.”

In the past, Trailer Wizards collected food for Hunger Awareness Week and its 50th anniversary celebration, and Vanderspek says they made a “huge impact collecting food” thanks to help of their customers and suppliers.

If you would like to drop off non-perishable food or make a monetary donation, visit a Trailer Wizards’ location near you.
