CALEDONIA, Ont. — TruckSchoolsUSA has chosen Kim Richardson Transportation Specialists Inc. as one of its Editor’s Choice top training schools in North America.

KRTS is the only Canadian truck driver training school on the list of 7 Editor’s Choice “Best Truck Driving Schools in North America.”

“Considered by many to be Canada’s foremost professional truck driving school, KRTS has taken a leading role in improving the often-criticized training that takes place in many Canadian schools. KRTS is a serious proponent of PTDI standards and technology in training. Their course offers offers a substantial amount of driving time,” TruckSchoolsUSA editors say about KRTS.

Other training schools on the Editor’s Choice list are: SAGE Technical Services, which offers training in 11 U.S. states; Fox Valley Technical College in Wisconsin; Western Pacific Truck Schools, which operates in California, Oregon and Washington State; and Houston Community College in Texas.

For the Editor’s Choice list, TruckSchoolsUSA interviews students, graduates, school staff, employment agencies and employers, and evaluates several aspects of the training schools. Editors also review the curriculum, catalogues and promotional material mailed to training school applicants.

TruckSchoolsUSA says each of the schools selected for its Editor’s Choice list deserves “special consideration” by anyone interested in a career as a professional truck driver.

Details about all the Editor’s Choice driver training schools can be found at www.truckschoolsusa.com.
