Transportation conference set for April

OTTAWA, Ont. — The Transportation Situation & Outlook Conference is being held in Ottawa on April
25 and 26th, 2004.

This is an annual high-level event with an excellent line-up of presenters setting the stage for what’s coming in modal transportation. It is a leadership forum to review and assess the impact of major issues on future modal transportation (marine, rail, motor carrier and air).

Economic, technological, political, institutional, security and environmental forces are rapidly evolving and, with them, the changing patterns of Global and North American trade (NAFTA). An assessment of the impact of these factors on present and future transportation services is vital for efficient strategic planning, business and sustainable development.
