Boysie Dindyal takes over as TransX Senior Director of Safety

WINNIPEG — One of Manitoba’s most prominent carriers has announced the appointments of two industry vets to their staff; appointments the company says will “help TransX go to the next level.”

Boysie Dindyal made the move from Toronto to TransX as the Senior Director of Safety. Dindyal has over 22 years of experience in the transportation industry, working for Vitran Express Canada as a National Fleet Maintenance Manager and at FedEx as a senior Manager of Safety and Compliance.

Derek Quinn is the new Maintenance Manager with TransX

Derek Quinn has joined TransX as the Maintenance Manager.

He brings 20 years’ experience in maintenance/transportation industry as a trailer technician and service manager for companies such as Big Freight.

TransX was founded in 1963 by an Italian immigrant named Louie Tolaini and under his leadership has grown to be the largest privately owned carrier in the country with more than 3,000 employees and 12 terminals across the continent.
