Tremcar Develops New Farm Pick-Up Tank Design

ST.-JEAN-SUR-RICHELIEU, QC — The tanker trailer manufacturer Tremcar says it has developed a solution in collaboration with one of its customers when it comes to the problem of safely loading and unloading cargo.

In working with Agri-Mark, a dairy provider in the New England region of the U.S., the two developed a milk tank with side manway doors along with a whole new ground level operating system.

According to the company, this means no one on top of the tank and no ladders, while washing and inspecting the interior of the tank at ground-level is much easier.

Tremcar says it designed a tank where all accessibilities were grouped together; milk sampling, temperature recorder, probe system and pumping system; all conforming to U.S. inspection procedures.

This new farm pick-up tank was produced and delivered in April 2014, but 12 more of these tankers are now on the production line.

More details are on the Tremcar website.
