Tremcar Opens New Edmonton Location

EDMONTON, AB – Officials with the tanker trailer manufacturer Tremcar welcomed over 100 people to its newest service facility last week in Edmonton for an open house gathering.

The company has moved its Sherwood Park activities to Aurum Energy Park.

This newest facility is expanded to three times its previous one to keep a bigger inventory of parts and give better service, according to Tremcar.

”We have a great staff but there was only so much we could do. With the original three-bay facility, Tremcar West had to turn down work because it functioned at full capacity,” says general manager John Sadoway.

Now with the $12-million investment the new facility tripled in size making it possible to accommodate customer demand, including with its 22 new bays, according to the company.

“Although the Western provinces are going through economic uncertainty with the petroleum prices being low, Tremcar officials say they are positive the energy sector will bounce back. This is nothing new under the sun, we’ve seen this in the past. It remains that tank trailers are still hauling crude oil today and the transporters will always need maintenance and repair,” says Jacques Tremblay, Tremcar co-owner.
