Trimac adds oil accountant to its team

CALGARY — Trimac Transportation Services has hired on Gary Stewart as senior vice-president and CFO.

Stewart began on May 12 and is a chartered accountant with 20 years of experience in senior finance, strategy and planning roles with Shell Canada and Royal Dutch Shell. Stewart’s last assignment was as vice-president of downstream planning and financial reporting for Royal Dutch Shell in London, England.

Stewart assumes the role from Edward Malysa who was appointed executive vice-president and COO in January.
