CALGARY, Alta. — Terry Owen, president and CEO of Trimac Transportation Services, has announced he will be leaving the company by the end of the year. Owens departure will be effective Dec. 31.

For the remainder of 2007, in addition to performing his normal responsibilities, Owen will be participating in the transition of responsibilities. Trimac officials have said it is expected that Jeff McCaig will assume CEO duties in addition to his current role as chairman.

Owen has been associated with Trimac and predecessor companies in senior executive capacities since June 1994 and has made an outstanding contribution to the success of Trimac over this period, according to officials. He has played a key role in the creation of shareholder value through the planning and implementation of major corporate transactions.
