Trio of Canuck carriers honored by Ryder
MIAMI, Fla. — Ryder System announced its top carrier selections for the 2007 Ryder Carrier Quality Award, including a handful of Canadian fleets.
TST Overland Express, Bison Transport, and DHL Express Canada, won the Canadian LTL, Canadian Truckload, and Canadian Courier categories, respectively.
The award recognizes excellence through a variety of metrics, including on-time performance, claims handling, customer service, technology applications, economic value and innovation.
"The above providers achieved top scores in Ryder Transportation Management’s 200 point carrier quality process for their respective mode for 2007, and we are once again honored to bestow the Ryder Carrier of the Year Award to these deserved quality service providers," says Tim Podvin, Ryder’s general manager for global transportation procurement.
