MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Cancom Tracking has announced Truboy Freight International has implemented Cancom’s OmniTRACS Real-time Satellite Fleet Management System.

Some of the operational benefits Truboy Freight International has experienced since installing OmniTRACS units is being able to access the exact location of its drivers and its assets, as well the new technology drastically reduced the company’s cell phone charges, noted Justin Trull, operations manager for Truboy Freight International.

“In the end, we chose Cancom’s solution because even though we’ve tried several different types of technology, we always knew that Cancom was the best solution for satellite communication. Cancom has been able to deliver the quality and dependability we demanded,” commented Justin Trull, Operations Manager, Truboy Freight International.

Based in Hamilton, Ont. Truboy Freight’s highway fleet services heavy loads, wide loads and escorted loads to numerous destinations in the United States.

“It is impossible for carriers to maintain a competitive advantage over their competition if they can not accurately see exactly where all of their assets are at any given time. This improves efficiency and in turn increases profitability. Truboy Freight International now has that added advantage,” said Mike Ham, vice-president of Cancom Tracking.
