Truck Centre Going for ‘Hat Trick’ of Service Awards

MISSISSAUGA — Tallman Truck Centre’s Mississauga branch has won Navistar’s 2013 Service Excellence Award for Technician Education for the second year in a row.

Rusty Bruce, service manager, accepted the award at Tallman’s Dealer Service Management Meeting in Lisle, IL. John Werkhoven, director of service, was proud to see Rusty go up in front of the crowd again.

“Even though Rusty’s beloved Maple Leafs were eliminated while we were at the conference,” says Werkhoven, “Rusty’s competitive spirit still rose out of those leaf ashes when he said, ‘Well, we won this award two years in a row – we’re going for the hat trick! With the team’s commitment to training, I say it’s a safe bet it will get done.’”
