TORONTO, Ont. — TruckNews.com has expanded its weekly WebTV show, Transportation Matters, to include mobile, same-day video posts via its YouTube channel. The supplemental video offerings, dubbed “TMTV On the Road,” will feature current Transportation Matters hosts Julia Kuzeljevich, Adam Ledlow, James Menzies and Lou Smyrlis delivering video content on the road at industry events, but will also include opportunities for video blogs, off-the-cuff interviews and other content that fits outside the usual Transportation Matters format.

“While the current weekly format of Transportation Matters is terrific for delivering well-polished video content, we wanted to be able to have an outlet for news items that either just couldn’t wait until next week or don’t fit the show’s typical format. TMTV On the Road will enable us much more versatility with our video offerings – not to mention the increase in output,” Ledlow said.

Ledlow noted that TMTV On the Road will be updated on its YouTube channel on an as-needed basis, while Transportation Matters will continue with its once-weekly format.

The first installment of TMTV On the Road, featuring Ledlow at Quick Truck Lube’s customer service barbeque earlier this afternoon, is now live on YouTube. To view the video, visit here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ef_HsuHfbzI&feature=plcp.
