TORONTO, Ont. — Stuck in a job and looking for something new? Looking for the employees with the right amount of experience and drive to help you make the most of the economic recovery? Turn to www.HireLogistics.ca, a new jobs Web site for transportation and supply chain professionals.

HireLogistics is brought to you by Truck News in collaboration with Transcore’s Canadian-based Link Logistics and sister publication Canadian Transportation & Logistics. The new site is an integration of job postings among the three partners.

Job postings are free! Just post on www.HireLogistics.ca and your ad will appear simultaneously on three jobs Web sites: hirelogistics.ca, Truck-Ops (operated by TruckNews.com) and TransportPlanet.com (operated by TransCore).

“We realize most transportation companies are watching their costs closely right now,” said Kathy Penner, associate publisher of Truck News/Truck West and administrator of the Truck-Ops service. “However, we also know it’s important to find the right people to fill important positions within your company. By offering our Truck-Ops service for free, we’re giving back to the industry and helping transportation companies strengthen their operations going forward.”

“The current environment presents both a challenge and an opportunity for employees looking to advance their careers in supply chain and for employers looking to have the right people in place to drive future growth. In launching www.HireLogistics.ca, we are looking for a better way for like-minded employees and employers in supply chain to connect,” said Nick Krukowski, publisher of Canadian Transportation & Logistics. “And to make participation even simpler, we are making job postings free.”
