TORONTO, (Jan. 9, 2004) — With just over three months to go before the opening of Truck World 2004, exhibit sales have already exceeded expectations, show organizers announced.

Truck World, which is owned by Today’s Trucking and highwaySTAR magazine’s parent company New Communications Group, is on target to have more than 500 exhibitors covering nearly 300,000 square-feet of floor space, said Show Manager Mark Cusack of Master Promotions. More than 15,000 trucking professionals are expected to attend the three-day event, to be held at the International Centre in Toronto on April 22-24.

Truck World is Canada’s largest truck show, featuring the latest in product design, technology, specialty equipment, support materials, and services for the trucking industry.

Cusack credits the change in venue and dates for the success of the show. “The International Centre is five minutes away from Pearson International Airport and near all major highways,” said Cusack. “Add the convenient location to new spring dates-which will offer exhibitors the ideal opportunity to unveil and showcase their new product lines-and you have a winning combination.”

Plans for complementary events at the show, including an extensive seminar program, are underway. Recently confirmed is the National Truck Beauty Competition, a one-of-a-kind event in Canada presented by highwaySTAR magazine and organized by Stars & Stripes Show Truck Events LLC.
