TORONTO, Ont. — Truck World and ExpoCam have found a new manager in Joan Wilson. The 20-year veteran of trade show management has come on board with the show’s owner, Newcom Business Media in Toronto.

Wilson was show coordinator for Truckcan (predecessor to Truck World) and ExpoCam in the mid-80s. She has also worked in various management positions at other trade shows, including CamExpo and Southex Exhibitions, as well as shows for ISA, Graphics Canada, and SME Canada.

“We are excited to bring Joan back into the trucking world. She is familiar with our organization and of course with the industry at large. Her experience will allow us to leverage what we have already started and continue to grow Canada’s national truck shows,” said Joe Glionna, director of Newcom’s show division.
