TORONTO, Ont. — Truck World will feature a big rig beauty contest next month that’s expected to attract some of the nicest show trucks in the country.

The SelecTrucks Best of Show competition allows visitors to the show to vote on their favourite rig. The winning truck will be announced at the show on Saturday, Apr. 22 at 4 p.m., organizers have announced.

“The design and customization that goes into these trucks is breathtaking,” said Elizabeth McCullough, show manager. “One of the featured trucks is not even built yet. The truck will be built just prior to the show, driven here by its owner and shown for the first time in Canada at Truck World.”

Just Chillin, Big Bear, Blood Sweat and 30 Years and Tirediron are some of the trucks that will be participating in the show. Nine show trucks will be displayed at various locations through the show, vying for the win. Daily prizes are available to show visitors who take the time to vote.

Contest ballots will be available at the entrance to Truck World, which will be held Apr. 20-22. For more information, visit www.truckworld.ca.
